Eileen and David made me feel so welcome. It was like staying with friends. A gown was available in my room to enable me to relax completely . As a woman that works away from home a fair amount of time, i often feel uncomfortable and vulnerable in hotels and often have all my meals in my room. However, I felt totally at ease and safe throughout my stay. Pointers guest house is such an amazing place to unwind after a long hard day working, and the grounds beautiful. I was greeted by Eileen , the following morning , for breakfast, with a friendly and welcoming smile and taken to my table, where I enjoyed a wonderfully prepared breakfast whilst looking out onto the gardens , from the conservatory . I will definitely be staying here again, not just for work but also for pleasure . Thank you so much Eileen and David . xxx

The house is in 15 acres of land which the owners have developed over the years into an award-winning conservation "park". You can walk around at least some of it, but we have yet to do that as we have only stayed in winter!
